I think they do, I prefer stainless steel, but everyone else thinks I'm wierd.

they're not flaking, I always throw them out when that happens. And, yes I do use cast iron too, I've never seasoned them the way you would the cast iron.

One of the reasons I like the stainless is that I don't have to use the plastic utensiles, but that has nothing to do with the taste, except the teflon chips, which is not the case.

did you ever season your Teflon pans? If not you have left the crap they put on them, just basic soap and water does not take the stuff off they put on.
If you season it and then wash with soap and water, it wont leave a funny taste anymore.
I do love cast iron allot more but i also like my Teflon.

no, the only flaw to teflon is that if you use anything other than soft cooking utensils, it removes teflon with the food, which is not a good thing to ingest. I prefer stainless too. Or better yet a good seasoned cast iron pan

For the very best taste nothing beats a properly seasoned cast iron frying pan.

I don't really think so but they may if the teflon is wearing off.
I prefer stainless steel too, now that I have replaced so many teflon pans because they wore out.

It depends on what your cooking in them, I only use mine for eggs. Everything is stainless steel or cast iron.
