The engine will stop supplying drive power and you will start to slow down.
It's the same if you are going 55 mph and the engine stalls.
(If your moving though, you can shift to N and restart the engine. After it's restarted, you then shift back into gear).

You can shift to N or to a gear that goes in the same direction you are. (R>N) or (D>1, 2, or 3) or (D>N).
Never switch to park or to a gear going in the opposite direction, until the vehicle comes to a complete stop (unless you like the idea of expensive transmission damage).

if your sitting still, the motor will shut off, but you won'r be able to put the ignition into the lock position until you move the lever to park. If your moving, the motor will shut off, you will lose power brakes and power steering making the car very hard to control.

If you were in Drive Mode, you would roll forward very slowly, sort of like Nuetral Mode. Same with Reverse, only backwards.

Nothing ..... it just shuts off the car then you can put it in park .. i have done it before lol

You can't pull the key out. Trust me, I've done it.

when you turn the key back on, if your still moving, could blow your muffler off......
