Avast Antivirus Question??

I have Avast antivirus but I don't know where to click like which button to choose to scan.. Which ones do you click on when you scan it?

Just right click any file/folder/drive to bring a popup menu. You will see a menu item with blue 'a' icon which says "scan" press it to scan your desired file/folder/drive.

Alternatively follow & click this sequences of menus from the start button-

Click Start>Programs>avast! Antivirus>avast! Antivirus

This will bring the avast! Antivirus simple interface. Select the "folder" icon, click it to bring path selection; from here select your desired folders/drives. Now click "OK". Then just click the "play" button (looks like this |>)

first you should have a desktop shortcut that when you click it will open up the program to start a scan. if you dont have a shortcut then rt clik on the blue a by your clock then it will open to start a scan. third when its open to scan click the box on the top rt side then a slide scale will pop up slide it all the way to the rt for a thorough scan.once youve done this click the sideways triangle to start the scan.
