I love this wonderful, creative, adorible guy that broke it off with me. It devistaded me. I moped around all day eating ice cream, the classic Gilmore Girls brake up routine. I can't stop thinking about him, and his sisters are two of my friend, but I'm afraid to see or talk to them with out HIm poping up in the conversation.

One way to get over one man is to find a better man. If you are not ready for dating, then just stay busy. Find things to do, or take up a hobby. You could even learn a new language. Just find something that will take up all your time. -It isn't easy, but it is definitely a start. It beats staying at home sobbing and moping about. Good Luck!

Give it time. Time heals everything. Nothing wrong with moping and ice cream, by the way. Grief is quite real and you need to feel it. There's been a death--your hopes and dreams died--so do what you think a widow would do, and be good to yourself. Eventually you will think of other things and believe it or not a day will come when you don't think about him at all. When you think of him and wonder why you cared, then it's over completely.

Why did he break things off with you is the first question that comes to mind? What did he say to you? It is hard to answer your question without knowing that information.

Sisters are friends so that is a good thing to bring up his nameit should lighten your day not shy you away. Also age is a factor here and if your under 18 and he is under 18 then he really isn't a man yet is he?

It will take time to get over your lost love but you will emerge a stronger person because of it. If he comes up during the conversation, just act casually and avoid the discussion about him (if it truly bothers you).
