I am currently reading "Assault on Dak Pek" by Leigh Wade. A book about Vietnam, an attack on a Special Forces camp in Vietnam. My uncle is one of the Special Forces soldiers who survived the attack, and I would like to contact the author about pictures?

Have you looked on the net for the author's website or fan-site? If not, try that. You may be able to e-mail the author directly. Also, check the publisher's website for a "contact the author" link. If all else fails, try a name search on the web and see what comes up.
If none of that works, then do like the others have suggested and snail-mail your letter addressed to the author in C/O of the publisher at the publishers address. You can find the publishers mailing address on one of the first few pages of the book.
