The first vet visit should include an exam, fecal check, Da2pp vaccine and a bordatella (if not already done). This is the time to get started on heartworm prevention and flea control. Expect to pay $80-$100. You could go to a low cost clinic, but this isn't a good idea. You need to establish a good relationship with your vet and staff. They are the ones that will be there for you if you need them. Booster vacs, continued heartworm prevention, flea control and spaying/neutering could cost another $500 and up for the year. Food, toys, etc will be extra.

It depends a great deal on where you live, but these are the visits you can expect: Puppy series vaccines often are every 3 weeks until 16-20 weeks of age, intestinal parasite and treatment/prevention, Heartworm preventative (if applicable in your area), flea control and spaying or neutering at approximately 6 months.....hope this helps. Most clinics can ballpark a "puppy package" for you. Keep in mind, this is if he stays out of trouble for the first year. I've not met a Golden Retriever yet who's managed that one :}

in virginia where I live figure between $800 - $1000 and that's for the shots, worming,rabies,and geting fixed. If you end up with fleas or ticks you cn end up speniding more
Also you should start on heartworm preventative and that can get up there another $100 or so for that a year.

Here is an excellent list of the needs of your puppy and budget:

You should also call around to your local vets and compare, not all of them charge the same amount and you can get cost effective shots this way.

Needs: Vaccinations, Worming meds. Costs of these are added to cost of office visit. Good luck. Costs I have seen range from 50 on up.

If all goes well, just the normal vaccines - rabies, etc. We maybe spent $200 in the first year, which is nothing compared to the tens of thousands of dollars we've put into our other dogs. Both required surgeries and it's not cheap for a dog that size. You can get pet insurance. It's kind of pricey but I learned my lesson with not having it.

For vet care only budget at least 1000 dollars. This will take care of all the pups shots and worming and neutering or spraying.
This does not include toys, food, bowls, leash, collar, brushes, crate, obedience training. Nor does this include any emergency vet care your dog may need.

depends on vet fees,you have to have all puppies shots,worming ,then grooming .all vets fees and shot prices are differant, i have a golden retriver and i have her groomed in summer cause of her thick long coat,you have to keep products for tick and fleas they love that thick hair.call your vet and ask about charges for fees and supplies, they can can tell you what all you need for the puppy.

some adult males take an prolonged time to get it. It would not remember. I ideally desire adult males peeing like that because of the fact it incredibly is purifier as they won't spray throughout themselves & in the event that they do pee on the floor, it incredibly is uncomplicated to bathe in assessment to those that pee whilst they raise their legs! think of if he does it on your partitions?
