i was just wondering this coming january 2008, when it's time to file for income tax again.......cause i got previous jobs that lasted only 2 days, some are 1 week, and another is 3 days only, should i claim an income tax return on everything that i actually worked eventhough it lasted only a day? or 2 days? or not even a week? or should i just ignore them and just file for the one that i actually lasted on?

For someone with a name like nofool your sure asking a real dumb question. Yes, file them the jobs you worked for will proably send you a W2 or a 1099 with no taxes taken out due to the short amt. of time you worked for them which they will also send to the IRS and they're going to want the tax due on it. They don't look at it like oh, he worked at this, this and this place and only made this much they add all that money together and then want the tax due out of that amt. which could be a totaly differnt amt. of tax owed.

You must include the income from ALL employers regardless of how long you worked there or how much you earned. The IRS gets copies of the W-2s and will match your tax return with the employer copies. If you don't match up, they'll be wanting to know why.

my husband decided not to file a w-2 one year because it was late coming in and it was only parttime for a short period....well about 1 year later when it was time to file again, the irs took over $1200 from our check because of fees and interest. therefor, if i were u, i would wait for them all to come in and file them all, it is cheaper in the long run.

You'll need to file on all of them. They should all send you a W-2 for the time you worked for them, even if it was extremely short.

You have to file them all. It just might work in your favor as you might get more back since you report being taxed more.
