My husband and I have had indoor/outdoor cats. They both lived a long time (a male 21 yrs & a female 18 years). Each one developed unique routines based on the season. For example, in summer, we'd see them and feed them first thing in the morning. Then, they'd go off for the rest of the day hunting or sleeping in their favorite places. In winter, they'd stay in a lot more. Of course, as they got older they liked to stay inside more. Incredibly, they did come when we called for them, but it took a few moments for them to show up. Do you have other places near your house that they can get into to get out of the weather? Our cats were able to get into the garage via a cat-door. Making several comfy places for them around the yard is one way to keep them close by.

Unless you make them live inside, you can't. They enjoy roaming. Cats are just like that and like to have huge territories to wander around in. I would just make sure I had lots of yummy food for them when they show up and give them the best attention I can in hopes they like me better than any other place that might put out treats for them.

You might try spending more time with them. Go out with them in THEIR environment; don't just put them outside while you stay inside. What do you even have them for then? You DO realize that by keeping them outside you shorten their lives, don't you?
And the word is "spayed," not "spaded."

Well, my first suggestion would have been to spay & nuter. But I see they have already had this done. It's is just in their nature to prowl. I'm curious to see the other answers.
Good luck.

cats are hunters by nature, bringing them into the house is the only way you can stop them roaming.

If they come into my yard and crap in the bushes, you won't have to worry about the problem again.
