I asked two cops in Dallas the same question. They told me that their hands are tied. They cannot make an arrest without city approval, and the city cannot do anything without federal approval.

It's hard enough to find people who have valid ID's. People move, change their number etc. How exactly do you quickly find someone using a fake ID or a stolen ID?
Do you think we should accidently deport some poor person who had their identitiy used?
But before it can be done even slowly, ICE needs more agents, and the government has to put things into action.
I have proposed, and will again, because maybe people would pressure their government reps to do this, start sweeping companies who hire illegals, use that money to put ICE agents into every hospital and every welfare agency. Before any service at either is provided, ID is run to make sure it is valid.
They self deport if they cannot sponge off our system.

Every state needs to do it. Then they are either going to cross the border to the south or to the north.

What's the point? For every illegal escorted back another 40
either cross the line by underground tunnels or waiting until dark. When a group of 50 do it at the same time only half of them are caught. Might as well start giving them a government
issued lollipop . Whatever they try is just a waste of time and money.

Because it's hard to round up 12 million people and dump them back in Mexico.

The better question is, "We have strict laws already in place that punish businesses for hiring illegal immigrants, why aren't these laws being enforced?"

Answer: The powers that be (i.e. corporate america and the politicans they own) have bribed the government into looking the other way. Because immigrants are a permanent slave labor class that cannot complain for fear of being exposed. And slave labor is good for profits.

Its kind of funny, that they come over here illegally and take benefits they are not entitled too, leech off the system, but once they get caught,,all of a sudden they have money for top notch immigration attorneys,,,,go figure,,but yeah,,we need to get rid of these leeches to save for legal people in need of benefits,,

They don't deport them all because the government needs them. They boost out economy and the government realizes that. If they really didn't care about the illegal immigrants then why did they pass the Amnesty of 1986, why are they giving them rights.

They catch illegal immigrants every day and take them back over the border. Before the police get back to their station, they've come back. It's like trying to catch sand with your open fingers.

It's all up to your local government to make that call. Most cities don't deport because of the costs and pressure from interest groups.
