I've read a lot of answers, from xians in particular, who have been very quick to put bulletholes in the big bang and this thing called reality

Well lets see, we were born to die, nothing but death is certain. So with that in mind it seems like the most logical decision to prepare for the inevitable. And you know something else when I do finally die I will not even care one tiny little smidgen at all about what I supposedly missed out on. You know it states in the Bible, They strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. Or in other words you can't take a little hardships and suffering now but you shoot for eternal pain, agony, and torment. What the hell is so logical about that?

Because logic is not what it's cracked up to be.

I have seen to many cases where people, intelligent people,
have reached completely erroneous conclusion by purely
logical means.

Oh! And the big bang does not conflict with any religious
beliefs that I am aware of.

All religions are highly logical. People think before they embrace faith and accept doctrines. Over 95% of the entire world believe in God and they work to build empires, highways, write books, and worship in Churches, Synagogues, Cathedrals and temples around the globe. This is logic at its best. Faith &logic.

And why live believing that your compassionate God will condemn to Hell anyone who doesn't bow down to Him, regardless of how much they helped others during their lives.
The fact that they have to use a verse from the Old Testament to condemn homosexuality and then say that the Old Testament doesn't apply to them when it brings up a point they no longer agree with should be their first clue.
Gravity doesn't care of you believe in it or not. If it did, you'd see a lot of people floating around.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Gods way leads to life, God has given us all a conscience and to make decisions based on Gods good laws which are not burdensome. Our righteousness is filthy rags to the Lord and we are not God. To decide who lives and dies and what is good and what is not good is self-righteousness and it is temporary self-appointed logic according to trendy beliefs based on media and todays society trends of morality. God wants us to live and live abundantly and to have a future and a hope. There is no law against fun things (concerts, music, surfing, skating, jumping out of planes, dancing, comedy, romance etc...) but as long as you are not corrupting them with immorality, drugs, adultrey, indecency, fornication, cussing which are normal to those who live in sin and see nothing wrong or have remorse about it and deny what God has for them for instead their own fleshly desires of what is wrong. This is not logic, but rebellion.

I blend Rand, Aristotle, the Gnostics, Thoreau and Emerson and find it quite fulfilling. See God everywhere and harness the powers of the Cosmos through science or spirituality.
Put on some European holidays and wisdom and it has a great structure.

I think youre right every one should just enjoy this life , and not just put off having fun for the afterlife, this is the one that belongs to us,, however there is more then just logic,, there is something far deeper then mere logic. watch for it....but enjoy the time we've got , thats the true reason we were born , and why god made adom and eve,,

Most of humankind will choose the way of the lazy and ignorant. The use of logic is so much more work than acceptence and faith in immediately doing and believing what you are told by others.

You don't 'choose' logic. You use it. This isn't robot land. We can't just pull out the parts of our brain we don't like. The notion that you can 'choose' logic and then use only logic exclusively is just plain illogical.

Dissagree? Describe to me how you logically choose clothes to buy, clothes to wear, what to eat today, what television shows you will watch, and why you should even honor these stupid Cristians that you hate so much with a response??

I can't even remember the last time I offered my opinion un-invited on Skinheads and Neo-Nazis.

It's cool that you feel so strongly about this. But.....
Why not let Christians believe as they wish and not try to convert them? It would be really great if you were courteous and showed some respet to us! I know you want to treat us the way you want to be treated. You don't want to be preached to, right?
Thanks a lot!

I am living life and having a blast! All my hopes and dreams have come true. Heaven will be the icing on the cake.

I appreciate your kind concern, however.
