Like most people, I want happiness and peace for everyone. No war, no racism, no starving, no homeless...you get the picture.
Is it possible...?
If a majority want this, can we not make change? and no, I am not religious.

The world as a whole can yes, most def. make a huge impact and reduce the amount of all of your questions but to completely stop it? I don't think so. Someone is always going to be struggling, some group is always going to be predjudice, some country is always going to be pissed off at another. That is just the way the world is, NOT perfect. That is just the way life is these days.

The Bible Prophecies of a time when the world will try to set it's own time of peace and safety without religion. If you study out that time, then you will see it will be the biggest blood bath ever to hit the face of the earth.
People do not understand one thing about religion, religion sets moral standards, those standards prevent worldwide blood baths. To condemn every religion is stupid and will end up in a vast majority of the population of the world being whipped out.

The majority do want it. But then what? Do we go to war with the ones who will bend it to their own ends? What if some one refuses to work should we feed them? If we do why should anyone work? What if racism is almost abolished but French still hate English? Should we shun the French?
everyone has to want it for it to work and we are still a long way off from that.

I believe the only time we will ever have perfect peace is after the rapture and judgement of Christ.
The world will experience peace for a season during the tribulation, but it will not be a perfect nor pure peace.
Man's own heart is too corrupt. Each holds his own ideology. However the only true peacemaker is one without sin, this only applies to Jesus Christ. Who led a perfect blameless lilfe, that is perfect peace...

Peace and happiness, both exist all over the world in different degrees. The idea of complete world peace is an impossible dream, becouse not everyone wants it.

No, because your idea of happiness and my idea of happiness may not be the same. Peace and worldwide happiness is a pipe dream. I have no desire for peace everywhere because it means everyone has been conformed to the same ideas and principles. I believe that everyone is unique and should be able to express themselves as they are. So peace, happiness, and harmony can never occur.

The ideologue that is being ushered now to the incoming generations of men is not about wars nor religious conflicts such as Islam VS Christianity but materialism ideology. This will be ushered by science and technology and will give men prolonged or extended life yet healthy and strong and with the convenience of leisurely lifestyle like jetting around the world or riding on the bullet train that will cruise from japan to hongkong to china to siberia to alaska to Canana-USA -Mexico then to South america or towards Eatern and western Erurope to london. That is the materialistic 2nd stage offering of satan to replace wars. But there will be an apparent physical peace but there will be spiritual decline and moral degenerations such as sex everywhere will finally lost its shocked values to all cultures and thus, mankind will be captives of satan and his prisoners of darkness. Well I am in the opinion that if everyone followed the ten commandments.
It would take care of all , just think about it for a few minutes.

Peace is a very low goal and since if you miss it, you don't achieve it, why bother with that?

A better goal is healing. If you can heal everyone, peace is a given, long before the healing finishes!

I am surprised that you expect to find an answer here, for a question that has bothered mankind for probably as long as humans existed.
