Not a big deal. 50 is cool. My Grandma is 103, she loves every new day.

Well my mother was just like you she was the kind of person that just freaked AHHHHH i'm turning 30 kind of thing! She was able to be positive about it and so when she thought about it she thought ok she is not turning 60 and she still has a lot of youth to her and to prove this to her she had fun with her hubby later that night after her birthday party! I don't think people really understand that your not even middle aged at 30 your still an adult so when people freak out at 30 it's just funny yes your saying good bye to your 20's but you can have more fun in your 30's because you have more exprierence under your belt and you can say yes i've been there and know what younger people don't! Wisdom comes with age unless you reject it! Hey just enjoy life no matter how old you are! your only as old as you feel!

right now no big deal but I haven't turned 30 yet(another 3 months) but age is just a number and some days you feel it and some days you don't!

I simply thought of 30 as 20-10. If you're healthy and have energy, age is just a number. :-)

It didn't bother me. I will be 31 in Oct. I thought it was just another year. I look at it like this.... 10 more years before we see 40!You are only as young as you feel. You are only as old as you act. Try to remember that.

It didn't bother me at all. My hubby threw me a huge birthday party- it was great. It didn't feel any different than turning any other age to me.
