To me it means to be intentional in all that I do, and to be accountable not just for my actions, but for their impacts (intended and otherwise).

For me it also means that "those things that grow in my life are the things I feed." If I feed hatred and selfishness, those grow. If I feed discipline and forgiveness, those grow. As I nurture those bits of myself, I shape who I become.

Wake up people! Do you think a child from Darfur wants to be trained to be a soldier and rape and kill people at the age of eight? We are not so in control as you may think, otherwise horrible things would NOT happen to innocent children. Being positive is one thing, being oblivious is another. Climb out of your lotus flower and really see the world as it is. Think positive and do good, but do not think that negative is brought unto us because we want it to.

You create your life and you become apart of your creation

I am in control of who I am and my destiny. Another way to say that is, And it harm none, do what you will. Makes a responsible person consider every ramification of their words and actions. You are very right.

That statement,,makes me feel good about myself in some
respects and not so happy in other areas of my life..
I need improvement..but I'm comfortable with who I am..does

I relate it to me personally. IF I can let go of the past I can stop living in it. I mean the negative and not so distant past.

I am in charge of me
If I need something changing ... I change it
If I am happy with certain aspects of myself .... I work on bettering them
my future is in my hands
and I am responsible for all I allow in it and how it affects me and others around me.... although one could argue that they are in charge of how they allow what i do affect them
