I was looking at an episode of HORIZON (the British version of the PBS show NOVA), and it talked about Michael Drosnin, the author of THE BIBLE CODE. Apparently he claimed that the Jewish year corresponding to 2006 would be a year full of world disasters and nuclear holocaust. You can have a look at at least the first few minutes of this show. This is of course an illegally stored episode of a copyrighted series, so if you are an ethical person you must never, ever, ever click this and run it:

Michael Drosnin must have egg on his face now. Or does he now change his tune and "reinterpret" the holy word of God?

Sarcasm and Folly have been previous testomony! particularly some the previous testomony does not practice anymore considering Jesus got here and we've a "new" one! God is a God of love...the clarification Sarcasm and folly have been appeared down on the previous testomony became into because of the fact interior the previous testomony, they have been paving the direction for Jesus to return, they have been saving the worldwide. because of the fact till Jesus (the sinless lamb) got here, the only blood sacrifice they could make became into animals. all people who threatened Gods project to save the worldwide, pave the way for Jesus to return, became into destroyed. as long as its innocuous relaxing and you're no longer emotionally bullying somebody, there is not any longer something incorrect (for christians or no longer) with Sarcasm and Folly...merely confirm you be attentive to the line between being folly, and being a fool. reason the two testaments have been against fools lol

The Bible Code is absolute foolishness.I have had that opinion long before 2006.But it does not impact on the Bible or how reliable it is-Drosnin came up with those predictions by himself, without any Biblical support.

The 'Bible Code' is false. You can get anything out of the Bible code you want including 'Pierre is the True Saviour', if that floats your boat. Same with numerology - it is possible to make any name equal 666. Both concepts that fall down under the slightest scrutiny. Hardly any religious folk believe in them either.

If you want to understand the Bible contemplate it, pray over it, analyze it for what it says. But trying to rearrange the letters to divine prophecy from the Bible is a form of divination that is like trying to use the Bible like a crystal ball, it was never meant to be that.

You could argue that the original Pentetuech is so deep in meaning that it actually conceals the future plans of GOD, but i personally believe that if GOD intended this it would be so and we would know about it, because GOD would tell us, but where GOD has not suggested this, it is just another new age superstition . ..

-LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

That's a chance all prophets take! I don't know if he has egg on his face but it was not much of a year, crime is still rampant, fanatics are murdering at an unprecedented rate, bomb makers are going all out and Muslims are lining up to get at all those virgins they are promised.

if the world ever does end there won't be a damned thing we can do about it. if we have knowledge about it all we can do is tell our creditors to F$## off and party ourselves into oblivion!!
