If you believed God has returned in the flesh, then perhaps you should reevaluate what the Bible says. God is not going to come back in the flesh, so if you left your spouse and family behind you would be a fool and could end up drinking poisonous kool-aid.

"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect. ... Therefore if they shall say to you, Behold, He is in the desert! Do not go out. Behold, He is in the secret rooms! Do not believe it. For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man. "

When Yahushua returns to gather his people to himself, each must be willing to go alone. Indeed each who decides only to go with someone else will be left behind. This is why we are told not to go back into our house when we see him coming.
This has already been discussed in my family, and there are those of whom I am confident will make their own way there. And there are those whom I am currently not expecting to see. I don't judge them for this, but have considered it for sake of knowing where I stand. Yahushua and Yahuwah are the most important people in my life. My spouse and children are second, and I can leave any or all of them behind without hesitation to be with my Elohim and saviour. The time to work at not leaving them behind is now. It will be too late when you see the sky rolling back like a scroll to reveal the heavenly host.
BTW: "Jesus" is not the name of the Messiah. This name means "He is [a] pig" in latin, and "Hail Zeus" in Greek. In Hebrew there was no such word, but "ha soos' is close, it means "the horse". "Jesus" is probably the name the anti-christ will use to mislead christians when he comes before the messiah returns.
The fathers name is YHWH, pronounced Yahuwah. It means "I was, I am, I will be". His sons name is Yahushuwa, meaning "YHWH saves". By no other name can you be saved, how is it that his name has been hideden from us? Reseach it for yourself, and do what is right.
Yahushua shalom

Jesus Christ has promised in the bible to come back - as his disciples watched him going up into heaven the angel said that this same Jesus would be returning in the air. When he comes back the second time we who are believers (the dead believers first and then the living ones) will be transported up into the air to join him and be with him forever. That is our hope. I dearly love my husband with all my heart but if he didn't believe in Christ (he does), I would never let that keep me here. The first commandment is to love the Lord God with all your heart. He gives us loved ones but He must be first, after all, He is our creator. So answer, I would definitely go anywhere that Christ was no matter who else did or didn't go. No one, not even my husband, is worth me losing eternity with God. When a person becomes born again, all things become new, old things pass away.

In the 2nd coming of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in the year 3500, in the KIngdom of heaven (on this earth and universe transformed into garden of eden with all planets/moons) men wil be born in the spirit and will become angel-like. After 1,000 years, the whole angel-like mankind will be a universal church, a universal family called House of Jacob, whose Father is THE LORD JESUS CHRIST called THE EVERLASTING FATHER (Isaiah 9:6) for 15 billion years the age of this universe. In the Kingdom of heaven pastored by THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, it will be a new reality for mankind having been metamorphosed into a new being called angel-like. And the kingdom of heaven is a semi-perfect reality and there the newly resurrected mankind will be taught first the ways of the new governance of THE LORD GOD as THE HIGH PRIEST IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK until the coming of THE KINGDOM OF GOD approx 15 billion years from now. THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.

You mean like David Koresh did?

He claimed to be a deity and some people left their families for him. Didn't turn out real well.
