Ok people give me tips and what not. Why can't I eat for 2 to 3 days? If I need to change my piercing to a clear one so people can't see it...when is the absolute soonest I can do it? Has anyone tried to do it 2 weeks in? I need to change mine in 2 weeks and I got it yesterday.

You can eat, but it's painful to eat solids, so most people stock up on soup, icecream, juice, ect.

YOU shouldn't change it for at least a month. You can, however, go back to your piercer and have them change the bar or the ball to clear so it's harder to see. realize that it won't be invisible no matter what you do. And realize they might not do it since most clear balls are acrylic, which isn't all that great for healing piercings.

Why didn't you ask your piercer these questions? Seriously, they are there to answer whatever they can to make sure you're happy with the piercing and will tell your friends.

You can't eat because your tongue will swell and it will hurt. (As you've probably already found out for yourself.) I lived on soup and yoghurt. :(

Healing rate differs from person to person, but two weeks seems like a good time period. I'm going to change my stud on thursday and I got mine on 777.
