Ah...yeah. Well, you might want to consider getting help and tranquilizing the bull. They can be extremely dangerous when angered. Do not try to shoo the bull back into his territory, he'll try to rush you. You should call animal control and your neighbor, and then ask how the bull could *jump* a fence. More than likely some of the fence was down and he forced his way through. Bovine aren't known for their jumping capabilities.

Only 400 pounds? Only 500 dollars? Well since we're just making things up anyhow here, how about you just imagine a cowboy with a rope, and then your problem is solved.

You need to find yourself a cowboy! A real cowboy will be able to heard that bull right back in the pen.

The first lesson in farming:

your neighbor "handle" it. afterall. it's his. }:=)

You're not going to force him to do anything, but you can encourage him with a switch and just herd him back.

Since you don't have my dogs to help you out...
Take a food bucket out (with food in it, of course) and shake it. It will follow you anywhere.

Rope it, or use a good cow dog to get it home.
