Jesus. His followers outnumber Allah's 2:1, and is known of by non-Christians pretty much everywhere. The next largest religion after Christianity and Islam is Hinduism, and it has too many deities for any one of them to be very well known.
By the way, the Buddha isn't a deity.

Lord Krishna is the most popular and best known God in the world. His Bagawat Gita and the teachings is being researched worldwide now and people love it and read it. You get the solutions for everything in Gita unlike Bible or Koran.
I am not writing as above since I am a Hindu.
Of the others Jesus is known more because of many countries the Christian Population is more and Christianity was preached by British missioneries, when they ruled the world. World over Christians were multiplying when British was ruling and now they have set many contries free so the increase in Christian population is also restricted.
Islamis are interested in playing the game of multiplication only and they go on marry ladies and produce children. Even many Muslims does not know much about Koran. So Allah is not much familar.
Buddha is known in the South Eastern and Far Eastern countries.-

Well, as the even the christian bible says 'the wide gate leads to destruction" or as the old saying goes--"if all the sheep jumped off a cliff--would you too?"
Its not really about who is the most recognized but who can a person relate with. Last time I heard the #1 religion in the the world was hindu--so you might want to look at shava. If its a majority rules thing for you.

I would say allah because most people follow the muslim religion in this world. Possibly Jesus though because he is also part of the muslim faith although they dont believe he was the son of god, just a prophet.

As far as I know Krishna is the most famous according to the Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) but that is dealing with all planetary systems, not just this little Earth planet. When we understand the BIG picture our little understanding becomes insignificant.
