I'm really not suprised at what the stupid devil does to peoples minds - or that what people let the stupid devil do to their minds -
I just pray for them - but to answer your question -bother to see so much hate - i see it as the very last seconds before the end of the begining - 2nd coming of our Lord & Savoir - His word tells us that all the things that are taking place in the world NOW - is going to happen right before He comes- so no - i'm not suprised - i follow the word of God everyday - and i try to pray at least once if not more for these particular people - i even say their yahoo name outloud to God and ask Him to give them another chance -and for Jesus to shine the truth and revelation into their minds one more time - before He totally turns his back on them for eternity -
God bless you - and keep praying

Factual and truthful answers and genuine questions are cool. I can learn from them.
The verbally abusive ones in which we are called idiots, deluded, childish, crazy, etc. are inappropriate, to say the least. Telling someone that they have an imaginary friend is rude.
There is a lot of hate directed at anyone who is religious at all.

It's just sad that some non-believers do not respect our faith.
Then again, this little bit that we deal with here is nothing compared to what Jesus went through for us.

So....I try not to let the hatred and disrespect bother me.

The only thing that bothers me is the derogatory passages about Jews in the Christian "gospels." I also sometimes wonder why many people seem to think the god of the NT is kind and loving when he condemns non-believers to eternal torment. That's much more hateful than anything I've seen from "non-believers."

You know, hate is a funny thing. Some Jews encounter it, some don't.

Generally, the hate I see is from misconceptions. People think one thing or one way of something Jewish and then they resent it because they either misunderstood it or its something misconstrued or completely false. Like kosher food -- I can't tell you how many people think kosher food is having a rabbi bless it. Morons. x.x

Its not hate that gets me, its the fact that you have people disliking your religion or culture because of misinformation.

itsaddens me for them beause they are the ones that have to live with the hate and bitterness they carry. It can be hurtful, yes, but if I stay offended by it then I am not walking the walk I should be. I do not, however expect an unbeliever to act any other way. A liar wil lie, a theif will steal and a scoffer and mocker will scoff and mock. How can I expect anything else until they know and understand the saving and freeing power of Jesus. I was once in their shoes and did not realize how much the way I treated other people had more to do with me than it had to do with them. Until they are free from their own hatred, bitterness , anger and pride , I don't expect anythign else to come from them and especially directed at me an other believers. If I remember , though, that it is not flesh and blood we wrestle against and that these people are in bondage to the principalities that would feed off of the anger and bitterness in their lives, it is easier for me not to be offended, not to be bothered and to show them the love of Christ through their hurtful actions and words.

I, a Christian know that it will happen , people did
it to Jesus so why would people of today not do
it to those who believe in Jesus ?

I know everyone has a right to believe or not & I NEVER force anyone into anything, but it's sad that some won't even think about faith & changing
their way of life.

It is distressing to me to see so much hate and violence in the world...I pray for the strength to love people who aren't lovable, cause sometimes I feel like it is hard to be a good, loving, non-judging Christian in this world today. All you can do is pray for nonbelievers and do the best you can to help people. Also it's good to see that someone recognizes the connection between Jews and Christians.

What do you mean from non-believers?

It irritates me as a Jew to see Messianic Jews trying to destroy my religion and my people.

I do not understand the question. Are you putting Jews, Xtians, and Messianic Jews all in the same category for some reason? Messianic "Jews" are Xtians, just ones using deceit to try and convert Jews. If you mean non-believers in the fact of people who don't believe in J*sus, I am one of them. If you mean non-believers in the fact of people who don't believe in G-d period, I don't really see hate from 'non-believers' (I do HATE that term) because I am usually open and try to listen to them. Logically, they then do the same to me. Those who have scathing questions about my faith I try to answer politely, because usually the rudeness emanates from misinformation and as soon as that misinformation is corrected, everything is fine between us.

So I guess your answer is no, it doesn't bother me to see so much hate from those not of Abrahamic faith because I usually don't get much. Honestly, 95% of the hate I get is from Xtians and Messianics.

Hmm. By the way, you were pretty rude to them just now. Maybe you should try to be nice, and they will be nice back?

It doesn't bother me one bit to get hate from non-believers. In fact, it just lets me know that I'm on the right path because what I believe offends so many people.

I do feel sad for them because I know how dark and sad I once was when I fought against God. I want everyone to experience the love and freedom that there is in Christ. I want the hatred and darkness in their hearts to become a thing of the past. I hope that one day, they are able to see and find the same revelation on Jesus that I have found.
