The Bible also says:

"Nobody knows the day or the hour."

So anybody who claims to have interpreted the Bible and can give you an interpretation as to when, or how it happens is in contradiction of the Bible.
The Book of Revelation is a literary work containing complex metaphors. It can be interpreted in many ways. People in the year 1 000, 1 666, 1969, 1996, for different reasons, all thought the end of time was at their door. People thought that too during the Bubonic plague years, or after World War II.

Remember nobody knows. No sense in living with a sense of doom.

BTW. Super-cute kitty you've got there. Mine is cougar cub.

Yes Ezekiel 38. The eyes will melt of the sockets before the skeleton hits the ground. Also, all the weapons of war will be gathered up and burned, and that will be the only fuel for 7 years. You can't burn guns and tanks and use it for fuel, but you can use nuclear material for fuel.

It is possible. Just worry about your self and all will be well. in the bible when it says the "moon will turn blood red" we discussed how it could rever to pollution rather than a phenomenon or something. The world is growning more wicked but whatever comes the lord will be there for those who are righteous.

facing God without being reconciled to HIm is way way worse than facing a nuclear war

in any case Jesus said in Mark 15 "unless the time is shortened no one would survive" or words to that effect

if I was going to guess at this point I would be most concerned about nukes in the hands of rouge nations or terrorists

Not really Bud. Of course the writers certainly knew nothing about the Physics involved in Any type of Bomb. We have no way of knowing what they "Saw" in any "Visions" they may have had, so for Us to say he is "Describing" a "Nuke" is kinda hard. Will the World be "Destroyed" by "Man" in "Any Form"??? No, that is Reserved for God as it says in Revelation!!! John

It mentions man would have a 'great sword'.

Which he indeed does here in the time of the end.

It was the horseman war which paralells the Matt. 24 prophecy, concerning war.

Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Yes - while standing on their feet their eyes melting in their sockets.

Zechariah 14:12
"and this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth."

Sounds like Nuclear War to me. Zechariah wrote this over 2500 years ago and the prophets are never wrong.

Yes. But I believe it will occur during the 7 yr. Tribulation period. See. Rev. 8 & 9. And Zech. 14.

Edit: Oops, see you already have! :)
