One way to do this is to rezise the image to a higher resolution using a good software like Photoshop and then zooming in.

In Photoshop try Image>Image size - then in dialogue box check all the boxes and change resample image type to 'bicubic'. Change the resolution to higher number (go in steps, instead of going straight to 300)

After you have got this image, then zoom in to the area you want - it should be better than just zooming in. Remember you will need a powerful PC as you increase the resolution.

Enjoy

You have to get the shutter speed up, by opening the aperture or raising the ISO, or both. Without the flash, the camera has to leave the shutter open longer to obtain enough light. You can only hold the camera still for so long, most people can hold 1/60th of second without too many problems, but anything slower than that will give you camera blur. Also, if your subject is moving, that motion will also show blur at even 1/60th of second. Using flash, that motion is stopped by the burst of light. You really need to learn about proper exposure, since the camera cannot do this sort of work for you. Your manual will explain part of it, and a good book like "Understanding Exposure" from your local library will help even more.

Images can be blown up to a certain extent. It can be done in photoshop and there are a bunch of third party plug ins and stand alone programs that will allow the image to be blown up to as much as 1400%(or so they claim) without blur.

it all depends of the pictures resolution. the higher the resolution , the more clearly U will see it when U zoom in.
there's no such thing as a program that you can zoom in an image and see it clearly w/o any blur
and , the zoom on photo cameras :
- if its digital , the more U zoom in , the worst the picture quality/resolution
- if its optical , no problem , the quality will be the same no mater how much U zoom in.

That is impossible. There are a finite number of pixels in the image, and once you begin to zoom in to a certain point, it will be blurry. There are some tricks in photoshop to gain some more definition. All the stuff you see on tv of the crazy zoom ins on tv images and photos, are not realistic.
There are algorithms that aid in interpolating b/n the pixels... not sure where you can get them though.
