If you take only the Body of Christ do you still recieve the full Eucherist? Is it mandatory to take both the Body and Blood? If anyone knows and has any legitimate website to prove it it would be helpful. I know that it is most likely recommended but i was just wondering

Yes even if you only take a little piece of the Body of Christ you still receive the full Eucharist.

Not it is not mandatory to take both the Body and Blood.

Some people do not take the Blood because they do not think it is sanitary to drink from the same cup other people are drinking from.

And other times the Blood is not offered at all Masses.

1390 Since Christ is sacramentally present under each of the species, communion under the species of bread alone makes it possible to receive all the fruit of Eucharistic grace. For pastoral reasons this manner of receiving communion has been legitimately established as the most common form in the Latin rite. But "the sign of communion is more complete when given under both kinds, since in that form the sign of the Eucharistic meal appears more clearly."225 This is the usual form of receiving communion in the Eastern rites.

I was raised Cathoholic. I always liked the cookie, the wine was just grape juice though. It would have made mass more tolerable if they used the real stuff.
