I'm like 4'11'' and people always think of me as just cute. No one really takes me seriously and I'm always being called innocent and stuff like that. No one thinks I can be perverted and they always gasp and act surprised when I sometimes am. Why is it so hard for people to take me seriously? Does height really matter? I have a pretty high voice, so that works against me too.

You mean most people don't take you seriously, Bobby Jo! But some where out there, is someone who does. I would, I think. Yes, height does matter to some people, but it matterss to every one in different ways. High voice isn't so bad, but people are used to smaller girls having cute small voices. But you know, and some people don't remember or comprehend, that everyone is different. Good luck!

Are you a girl or guy? You sound like a guy and if you are, well just pray for the right woman. I won't lie, being a 4'11 male is a hardship! Some women might not like you, but there will be someone who does.

If you are meant to be short then thats what you were meant to be. It's sort of stereotypical for people to think that just because you are short you're innocent. But most of all don't worry about what others think. The onlly persons thoughts that count are your own,

Sadly it kinda does when it comes to us shorties. I'm 5'5 (but I'm an 18 year old guy) so I'm short, so not many people will take us seriously.

you can't change your height so just learn to live with it if i were you I'll use it to my advantage and why would you want to be perverted anyway what do you want people to think of you as a sl*t who cares about what people think.don't go out of your way to try to change peoples perspective of you there's really nothing you can do.

Well it is pretty cute to be short, and you shouldn't mind. However maybe if you want to be taken more seriously, try to wear a little more eye makeup or something. I'm pretty sure guys don't mind shorter girls though. My boyfriend is 6'3 and I'm only 5'4, so don't trip. = )
