That's terrible! Kitten wants love! Take the time to pet Kitten and play with Kitten and hold Kitten and kiss Kitten and LOVE KITTEN TO DEATH! Kitten wants you to stay because your dad isn't giving Kitten love and you are feeding Kitten so Kitten thinks that you're mommy and you love Kitten! That is not right of your father to keep Kitten there. Ask him if you can take Kitten with you, since he obviously isn't loving Kitten. And if it gets worse and he won't let you take Kitten, report him to a non-killing humane society. I know it's hard to report your father, but that cat needs love.

What's the point of having a pet if you keep it in the garage 24/7?
Keeping a kitten in a garage on a permenant basis is no way to live. Kittens are active and require playtime and interaction for proper socialization and development. Furthermore, unless the garage has heat and A/C, this kitten could quickly die during the summer from heat stroke or become too cold during the winter.
Perhaps you can convince your father to surrender the kitten to a humane society or find a new home for him. It doesn't seem like he'd really want a pet cat if that's how he treats it anyway.

I don't see the point of having an animal you don't have contact with. It's useless to keep a pet away from you like that, especially a social animal like a cat.
Get the cat into the house. It's not a 'pet' out there, and it's not doing anything good for the kitten either.

thats cruel! arent garages usually really cold or really hot? how much time do you guys spend with it? kittens need a lot of attention when their little. and farther into age. if you guys dont treat the kitten right then give it to someone who will. sorry if my accusations are wrong.

if it gets hot out there the cat could die! does he even want it? talk to him about it and tell him how you are feeling and that the cat needs more space. there are so many dangerous things in a garage for animals that the cat has access too. bring it too his attentions. if he doesn't want it find it a home, if he refuses to do it then you may have to call the aspca! that's tough though! good luck!

omg thats so sad i have 3 cats and one dog and we always let them out the dog sometimes sleeps in her cage but no you should take it up in your room and lock the door. For a while....and let it roam around. Cats need excersise...my cats are inside and outside cats but we never thought of locking that up thats just soo sad.
