i was wondering what type of cable is needed to connect my pc and tv so i can watch movies on my tv

I was just at Best Buy and Radio Shack the other dday and both said you would have to have a video card installed on your computer, it costs 130.00, but it comes with the cable to run it.

You need to have a video card that can support component, composite, s-video, or dvi. You also need to know what type of input your tv takes.
