Chocolate Covered Bananas
4 bananas
1 (12oz) package chocolate chips
Peel bananas. Cut each banana in half crosswise. Put popsicle stick into flat cut end of each banana half. Place bananas on cookie sheet and put into freezer. Freeze until bananas are firm (about 1 hour). Melt chocolate chips in medium size skillet over low heat. Turn off heat after chocolate chips are melted. Or put chocolate chips in glass baking dish and heat at low LOW power in the microwave oven for about 1 minute. Roll frozen bananas in melted chocolate chips until banana is coated with chocolate. After each banana is coated with chocolate, put it back on cookie sheet. Return chocolate-coated bananas on cookie sheet to freezer. Freeze until chocolate is frozen (about 15-20 minutes). After chocolate is frozen, wrap each banana in plastic wrap. Keep frozen until time to serve.

Chocolate Covered Bananas are an old Girl Scout treat. What you do is this:
Melt a package of chocolate chips in a small bowl over a pan of boiling water or in the microwave. Set aside.
If you want to use chopped nuts or sprinkles, do any chopping you might need to do and put them into dishes.
Cover a small metal baking tray with waxed paper.
Peel the bananas and cut them in half across the middle so that you have to pieces, each 3 or 4 inches long. Insert a small skewer (you might need to cut it with scissors) or a popsicle stick a couple of inches into the cut end of the banana.
Now, just take the banana on the stick, roll it around in the chocolate gently to coat it completely, then dip it into any nuts or sprinkles you want to use. Lay the banana on the wax paper covered tray.
Freeze at least one hour. You can put these in a ziplock bag after they have frozen solid and keep them in the freezer a week or so for treats.

You can make them either frozen or just cold, its your choice. Either way you make them the same. Take 4 Bananas, peel them and cut them in half and brush them with a little lemon juice so they don't turn brown. Insert ice cream sticks into them if you have them or you can use scewers. Place them on a sheet of wax or parchment paper and place in the freezer for 1 hour, or the refrigerator if you don't want frozen pops, freezer is better though. In a glass bowl on top of a pot of simmering water ( double boiler ) place 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter. Whisk until completely dissolved. Remove bananas from freezer and let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before dipping. Cote bananas in chocolate using a spoon. Be sure to coat entire banana, even by the stick. Let most of the chocolate drip off and place back on parchment paper and freeze for 20 minutes before eating. You can also use other types of chips for this like half chocolate and half peanut butter. You can also coat in chopped nuts if you like before these go back into freezer.

Okay you should put banana in cold place like refeagator (sorry I suck at spelling today) then just leave it there for like three hours.
Then you could buy chocolate bar, and melt it in a bowl in microwave on high until it melt
Then you get the banana and just dip it in the chocolate and while the chocolate is wet you sprinkle the sprinkles or nuts or whatever you want on it. Then land it on wrap where it's not sticky. Then when you finish dip all of the banana and etc. then put it in the refagitor *(again sorry)* until the chocolate harden. Then eat it!! ^_^
Hope it work!!

put the peeled banana in the freezer and in the meantime melt a bag of chocolate chips in a saucepan, add a little light corn syrup (karo is a good brand) until it's a bit more liquid and dippable. dip banana in the warm chocolate, then roll in nuts or sprinkes, place on wax paper and freeze till chocolate is hard ~30 min. enjoy, you sound like a fun mom!

you dont need to freeze the bananas, it'll make it taste gross. if you have semi-sweet chocolate, just melt that in a double boiler, or a small sauce pan over a bigger sauce pan filled with boiling water..stir the chocolate til almost melted, then remove from heat, stir til completely melted. cut the banana in half if not too long, or in three pieces if long, stick a stick in one end, dip it in the chocolate, letting the excess drip back to the pan, roll in coarsely chopped nuts (may i recommend hazelnuts?not the filberts, the real deal), and sprinkles if you like, and put them on waxed paper stick them in the fridge and about an hour later take them out and enjoy! or put them in the freezer for a half hour and then enjoy. happy eating!

They sell a specific kind of chocolate for melting in the baking section of the grocery store. Just melt it and dip the bananas in. Not sure about freezing them first. I don't think bananas do well with freezing

Cut peeled bananas in half crosswise, stick a wooden dowel in cut end, lay on cookie sheet and freeze.
Meanwhile, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave. Stop and stir often, be careful not to scorch them.
Coat frozen bananas in chocolate, then return to cookie sheet and freeze again. You can roll in peanuts or sprinkles if you want to, before freezing again.
