2 days ago I woke up with a 103 temperature, sore muscles, and really out of it. Well yesterday I happend to look at my back in the mirror and seen this huge red rashy mark (it was swollen) on my back, and you could see bite marks (like 2 little holes) and there was something sticking out of it (like a black stinger). I do not remember being biten or stung by anything. I'm assuming it happend in my sleep. Now today my muscles are still VERY sore(especially my thigh and buttocks) and the mark is still very much there and does not look like it is going away. Do you think it is anything serious, should I call my doctor or wait and see what happens? Thanks for listening :)

Not sure - COULD be a bite or sting, but I'd be more worried about infection given your fever, muscle aches and that you say you were "really out of it"
I think you should be checked by a doctor. You might need antibiotics.

YOU NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. NOT THE DOCTOR. THIS IS THE TIME TO SKIP THAT STEP. PLEASE TAKE THIS ADVICE!!!!
Spider bites do have two holes, unlike other bites. However they don't leave a stinger. The biggest concern is of course a secondary infection. Staph is the most common secondary infection from any bug bite. The doctor will also be concerned with tetenus. You would not feel a spider bite, as the fangs penetrate the skin they excrete a substance that numbs the area, giving them time to extract the fluid from their prey... they are vampires. The muscle pain and tempature is more than likely due to Staph infection. NON TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY!!!. Staphlococius bacteria is all around and has been for ever. However, we have over used antibotics so much that there are some horriblly resistant strains of the bacteria.
My cousain, 45 years old, felt like he was getting the flu on Friday. Sunday his wife noticed a red pimple-like bite on the back of his leg. She left for work Monday morning, he was going in to the ofice late because he still didn't feel well. At noon after not hearing from him she went home and found him on the floor in the bathroom. He was in a coma. He was rushed to the hospital intubated an placed on a ventilator. The Staph had spread throughout his body, crossed over the blood/ brain barrier into his brain and killed him 3 days later. He never woke. GO NOW, Not tomorrow!!! This really not something to mess with. I wish you well

It could very well be an allergic reaction to a spider bite. I got bit by a black widow spider not too long ago, and had severe pain in various places, sore muscles, fever, and felt almost fluish. Turns out I was having a severe reaction to a spider bite. If you think this is the case, go to the emergency room, you will be wasting your time by going to the doctor as most doctor's offices cannot do anything for a spider bite. Take 2 Benadryl so that your throat does not close in between now and the time that you get to the hospital. The fever could indicate an infection is starting, which is really common, if you did not keep the bite clean and dry. Good luck to you!

Sounds like symptoms from a spider bite,
I would go to the ER 103 temp is dangerously high. maybe the black stinger thing is the spiders fangs that broke off or something,.....
Some spiders like the Recluse spider can cause necrosis, which is the deadening of live tissue and can spread. You don't want to have this happen, so get to the ER or make an appt with your doctor as soon as possible.

damn. it might have been an alergic reaction. something minor not major. what ever u do i would take the stinger thing out. go right to the doctor so they could identify the bite. and get medication. wash it really good if u took it out [i wouldve lol] and put a bandaid for no infection. and then u should be better once u get meds and some sleep. also if u have to wait for an appointment drink tea to soother ur muscles and put a heating pad for ur sore musles. PS: popcicles are always good for fevers

GO TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!!!
You are having an allergic reaction to an insect venom bite. The fact that you have had a fever of 103 is grounds to go to the hospital. If you were bitten by a poisonous spider, you need to receive an injection of anti-venom.

You should seek medical attention. Could have been bitten by black widow, brown recluse .. a mite, scorpion.. sounds like a bad allergic reaction. Get that looked at soon.
