I think God is a pure light and love, But I don't think organized religion is for me.

Every explanation and description of God is correct. You will not go wrong when the subject is God cause he is too big to miss. Every realization and religious path brings you to God. If you believe Pure Light and Love is God, you are right.
But since God is in whole, acceptance of your faith and yes by not condemning others beliefs makes it complete.

Well first I must write:
No person can serve God with the nature that they are born with. God has to radically execute that nature, the nature that they are born with, and infuse them with His (God's) Holy Spirit. Then they can serve God.

God is pure love but I don't know if you are thinking or pure light as I would think of pure light. You do need salvation. This is where God does the executing of the nature you have now, give you His Holy Spirit so you will be able to get close to God, and stay close to God.

Maybe check out your local Subud group. They will probably be disorganized, they aren't a religion, and they have a way of coming closer to God that doesn't require a certain point of view.
In any case, if you put the intention out there to God, you will probably be guided to the right way for you. Best of luck to you.

by religion you mean Christianity? then my next question what is organized religion? going to church every sunday adn doing Bible studies adn stuff? then that isnt what Christianity is about. Christianity is beilving that God is the one and only good thing and that He sent his Son to die for us so that we may have eternal life and live with HIm forever in Heaven. now if you have that part down and just dont want to be apart of groups like metioned in the first part of this answer then the next step is just studying the Bible and praying,talking to God and practicing what you think is God's will for you... You don't need religion. It sounds like your spiritual path is leading you to God. To get closer to God, pray, meditate and work on the issues that arise in your life. Each new experience you deal with will bring you closer to God.

Jesus said no man can come to the Father except by me.
If you dont believe in Jesus you will not see God because when he resurrects the dead Jesus will be the one to judge you

God to me is inside us all,guiding us by his conscious talking to ours.listen to your inner voice and thats him if it tells you to do good deeds.pray for his asistance and he will give it.
