Should I update my IE to IE 7? I was gonna update it because an application error popped up everytime I closed the browser from myspace but it's not doing it anymore. Should I still update it? And does the IE 7 got internet options where you can clear your history and your temp files etc.? Does anyone know why that application error thing came up? But I think it stopped.

IE7 is better than IE6 as it has an anti phishing filter built in.

However Firefox is the most secure and fastest.

Its also worth taking a look at Deepnet Explorer if you are running XP.

Yes sure you can use both then you can decide which one you prefer.

Firefox is not slow, much faster than IE especially if you have a slowish connection.

It only stops you going to sites of a dubious nature, its called security.

Hope this helps.

I work in Tech support and I have seen problems coming up on updating to IE 7 but not if it is a fresh windows installation. I would say dont upgrade. I you like IE 7, try using Firefox. Its the best browser available.

not sure why you got the error, but all versions of IE have the capability of deleting your browsing history and temp files.
IE7 fixes some of the bugs/problems with IE6, such as security holes (not that it doesn't have problems too, just different).
mozilla is better, security-wise, because of the lack of activex. I would recommend you try Firefox, see if you like it. (it also has the file history and temp file deleting options)
