I was just wondering, I was told to mix some puppy chow with the puppies formula when it was time for them to be weaned. But the puppy chow isnt getting soft, is there any way to make it soft faster? We have been waiting for about 15 mins now.

If puppy chow is what you will be feeding your puppies, you can make that softer mush by warming up some water or the formula (until hot) and mixing it in with the chow. Use a fork to mush it. Then serve when only slightly warm. Stir with your finger to be sure there isn't a hot area in the middle.

Right now, you'll be able to feed them small quantities of beaten dry meals, combined with slightly of hot water. However, at four weeks, you are going to nonetheless must preserve them with the mother for AT LEAST a further two weeks, satisfactory a further four weeks. However, you'll be able to begin introducing small quantities of dog meals. What you'll be able to do, is on the instances you desire to feed the dogs their beaten forged meals, take the mother out for a stroll, so she will get a holiday from the dogs, and she or he may not scouse borrow their meals. Just carry the mother again while the doggies are performed, or while the stroll is over. I'm certain she'll benefit from the loose time.

Maybe try putting it in the microwave for 15 seconds...then let it cool and see how it turns out. Or contact your local vet and check with them. Good luck.
