Dents are OK, holes are a problem. My husband actually has holes there, and a weird kind of sinus cavity underneath. Seriously. It's strange.

If you are talking about the little indentions IN your upper crack, that is where the external tail and tailbone were protruding. As we neared complete developement, the tail was covered up by the faster-growing tissues of the buttocks. All that is left of it is the internal tailbone.

this sounds like a pilonidal cyst. you can be born with these and they run in families. if it bothers you have an md evaluate. sometimes they get fluid in them if u sit on hard surfaces, or fall on your butt. youll know if it swells cause it hurts like someone shoved a rusty nail in your spine. otherwise they can just be there and be dormant.goodluck;)michele

that's the way the body is built. it's normal. but they're visible only on people who do a lot of workout or are thin in that area. I do a lot of workout and i am very fit. before i started my workout they were much less visible.
