Weight loss all boils down to one very simple equation:

Calories OUT ("burned") must exceed calories IN (food eaten).

When this is the case, you will lose the weight. You can intervene in either part of the equation (i.e., burning more or consuming less). To burn more, exercise more.

From whence the calories come matters not (e.g., german beer, liquor, broccoli, cheerios...).

liquor has 100 calories per ounce and a 12 ounce german beer has 300 calories so you do the math. How many shots do you drink as apposed to how many german beers you drink. To lose weight faster you need to stop drinking.

Beer is called liquid bread, for a good reason.
This is especially true of German beer.
If calories & weight matter, stick with American beer.
Even better, try the low-alcohol or near-beer.
Hard liquor has the same amount of alcohol drink for drink.

Beer has a ton of calories and carbs. Your best bet would be to not drink it if you want to lose weight. Hard liquor has alot of calories per shot and if you mix it then it gets sugary.

If you have to chose, then go with the liquor

anykind of alcohol should be avoided if you are trying to lose weight atleast during the first two weeks.. instead of switching to hard liquor , beer is better because believe it or not it is a good substitute for water, so try light beer

Any form of liquor is going to give you weight.
All liquor has a vast amount of sugar in it, hense your going to gain weight if you make consumption a regular habit.
Unless you have an extremely fast metabolism but that will even ware off in time.

Maybe "a" glass of wine a night would keep from accumulating fat.
