i like rasmussen but I'm not sure he can time trial well enough to win it all.

Rasmussen has been great these past few days. voeckler? he has been back in the peloton i suppose since i haven't heard much about him. a lot of the big names are gone and so many new riders, it's still wide open. how come vinokourov isn't on your list!!!? and there's always Kloden. but i don't think leipheimer has it in him. Popovych and Hincapie should start supporting Contador. the dog that ran into Burghart, he should get the red number for most aggressive. :)

I'm still going with Vino to win, rooting for Levi, and Rassmussen with the KOM and McEwen in Green.

Do you know anything about cycling? That is the worst Top 10 I've ever seen. Hincapie cant break the top 10. Niether can Voeckler or Lefevre. Popavych wont. Rasmussen cant time trial to save his life/win the tour.
Moreau. I believe, like he has done in the past he reachs top form during the Dauphine. This is a very presitgous race in France so he feels compelled to win it. I just dont think he will have enough left in him to win the Tour. However I do expect him to finish in the top 10 easily. I have him in 7th
Sastre. As he proved last year, he can climb with the best of them. However I do believe that his Time-Trialing will keep him out of yellow. I think he will ride well in the moutains but i do not believe his Time-Trials will allow him to win it. Top 10 dont think he'll crack the Top 5.
Perioro (last years potential winner). Casse d'Parge (sp) has a strong team. If they send Karpets, Emfinkin, Perioro and Valverde they have 3 conteders and another solid rider in Emifkin. I do believe that Perioro will not be able to win based on Valverde being on the team. If Valverde seems unable to win look for him and Karpets to compete for the role of team leader. However I still believe that Valverde will lead that team, ensuring that perioro does not repeat last years preformance.
Evans-He is my bet for 2nd. He finished 5th last year and he has been improving his Time-Triailing ability. I dont think he will win it, because of his team. Prdictor Lotto i think is just to weak of a mountains team and by having Robbie on the team they should be focus early on on getting him stage wins. With Vino injured i think he jumps into second place.
Liephimer-Rode great in the Tour of CA and in the Tour of GA. He has a strong team to support him, but he will need to show through the first moutain stages that he is the best on the team. Contador could "overthrow" hom of he seems to be riding better. Look for Levi to get a Top 10 i think he'll be 5th, unless he has another disaterous ITT in the first week.
Contador-Biggest problem for him finishing high up is Levi. He will need to pull Levi up the final climbs on each stage. One thing going for him is that he can win the Milliot Blanc, White Jersey. If he could win the Best Young Rider Classification, he might become the leader. But as long as Levi has a chance for a Podium Levi will lead the team. Contador If he leads I think he can finish as high as 8th. But if Levi is the Team leader, expect Contador to do well, be Levis last man and possibly win the White Jersey.
Kloden- I think he can get a top 10. Hes injured but hes had the injury for 3 years. But is seemed weak yesterday. Hes the 3rd best rider in all of cycling. But his injury could hinder him. I think he still can pull out a top 10.
Mike Rodgers-He is my forth place pick. He is one of the best ITT's out there (3 time world champ) and he has been improving his climbing ability, to an elite level.
Valverde-I think he is the 2nd best rider in all of cycling.. Valverde still needs to improve on his ITT if he wants to win the tour. he is still young and should win a tour in the future. Also look for Valverde to win lots of stages in which there is a sprint after a climb and the spriters have been dropped. Also if he is in a pack of 3 or more riders at the top of a climb expect him to win the sprint to the finish. He will be able to pick of valuable time bonuses with his sprints. Now, with Vino injured he should win the race.
Vino-He was dominate in the Vuelta last year. He toyed with riders during the Dauphine. He is the best rider in the pelaton right now. In last years Vuelta Kashenkin (sp, other guy from KAZ) came in 3rd. Also Kloden joined the team, winning the Terrieno-Adriattico early in the year. However he is injured. I still say he can make a podium placement. If his injuries hold up.
Green Jeresey-Tom Boonen. He has been showing his domiance over the past few stages. Robbie has had some poor finishes in th last two sprints. Zabel is close but i think he is to old to beat Boonen. Watch out for Robby Hunter (Barloworld) His team is a wild card and hed love to win something to show how good they are.
KoM-Rasmussen. He was the only one who sprinted up the final climb to gain some points. He looks like the only one who has it as a top priority.
White-Contador. This might be the best race of them all. Gerdeman, Gusev and Dekker are all in good form. This should be a good battle. but Cotandor is so strong, hes considered by many to be Discovery's Leader.
Combativity-Vino. If he has a good showing Top 10 after his injuries and seems racey he'll win it. Vino is known for being agressive and being injuried makes him all the more combative.
