First, to answer your question: H or C, but always take your partner's lead.
If you and your partner had a good laugh about it and continued to cuddle, then that probably means s/he is easy-going, knows how to "go with the flow" and handle the unexpected.
If your partner noticed your embarrassment and tried to console you, then that probably means s/he has a lot of empathy and compassion, and did not want you to feel bad about it.
If your partner screamed "yuck", jumped out of bed, sprayed room freshner and stopped sex for good, then s/he is a little uptight. (A yellow traffic light goes here.)
How a person responds in an awkward situation says a lot about their human nature-- exactly who and what you're dealing with. So, observe and learn.
Plus, how you handle the situation lets your partner know something about you, too. Think about it. Hopefully, in a year this will be a great party story for the two of you to tell together.
