getting mixed feelings about him. my ex just sends mixed emotions. he put me on his top friends list next to his other ex. but I dated him before this other girl. what is he trying to tell me? any advice please.

Keep in mind that he is your ex for a very good reason. Now you're older and wiser. Expand your social network, pursue those interests that you may have overlooked while you were his girlfriend.
If you absolutely have to have his love/interest, then let him know what you're feeling as soon as possible! Then the ball's in his court and you won't have to worry about what he's thinking you're thinking!

you are trying to catch your tail..
You say your friend puts you on his top friends list next to his ex... So you are his current , and his ex are his previous..
but in same breathe you are telling that you dated him before this other girl who is his Ex...and this Ex is after you.. and you must be Ex to him before his future Ex became his current Ex...
correct your question , now no chance , and forget about your weightage in terms of Ex why Zed..

why are you letting your ex's playing with you head? He is an ex's for a reason. I was told when your partner become your ex's its mean everything is over and done with. my advise to you is to tell him to move on and you change your number.
