I would say 40 is too old to be a virgin. 30's is pushing it.
It's different for guys and girls though. Culturally, it's typical for guys to prefer girls who are virgins (especially in other countries), because the girls are considered "untainted' and "pure." Girls on the other hand, typically prefer guys who are "experienced," because an unexperienced guy would leave a girl unsatisfied.
However, a "mature" person in this new age society would prefer an "experienced" person - regardless of their gender. Why? Because an "experienced" girl would understand her body better, more open to the way she feels, and can reach orgasm easier. Typically, most women peak their sexual drive in their 30's. Since they understand their body more, they're able to enjoy the experience more.

For all you einsteins that said older than 25 isnt good to be a virgin, who the heck made u the perveyor of whats right and whats not right. Are u saying that if u pas 25 and ur still a virgin yoiu would just give it away and be easy . What a joke. This is why our society is going downhill. If your a real man or a real woman, u stand up for what u believe in and go all the way for it. Virginity isnt for wimps. All you 18 or 20 year old virgins that said this are just virgins that are about to lose it. Do yourself a favor and lose it now.
Im 40 and im still avirgin and waiting till marriage to have sex like a REAL MAN.
Guys and gals go buy urself a condom now and start learning how to use it lol

Do not fear. Not many people do it right the fist time. Marriage is what I am talking about. So it is possible to not be a virgin and get lucky on the second marriage, because you know what to look for. Not being a virgin is not a problem, unless it is interfering with the relationship. Speaking from experience, my first marriage was a bad experience. We waited until after we were married, and then I discovered that she was a cold fish that never warmed up. There are good things about waiting, but then there are also so good points about not waiting. Sex is a very poor excuse for marriage.

There is no set age on too old to be a virgin. Being a virgin (or not) should not be a factor in choosing a boy/girlfriend. If it is, you are thinking with the wrong head.

There is no to old age. If a man leaves a woman because he found out she was a virgin then he was one stupid man, or he was just interested in one thing and didn't want to teach someone the art of sex.
If a woman was to stay that pure to hold out to her 30s then who ever she is with is very lucky indead and has a treasure to hold every night

There is not a age on self respect. Saving your virginity for your wedding night is a wonderful thing. If you are going out with a guy that try's to change you, then he is NOT the right one for you and you just move on. Keep your morals and people will respect you for that.

i say no age is to old. if you aren't ready or haven't found the person that you want to give it away to then why should you have sex just because you don't want to be an older virgin. its all up to you when you want to loose it and such and there is no such thing as to old. and if a guy says to heck with you because he wants a girl that is not a virgin then he is a loser and doesn't deserve you. andmost guys wont do that they like virgins. so like i said no age is to old unless you are on your death bed lol.

No guy is going to hold it against you for being a virgin. It's actually a secrent fantasy of most guys I know. However, most guys don't want someone who is prudish either. If you're limiting yourself to guys who will wait for the wedding night, you are going to greatly reduce the number of potential people to date. It is admirable, though.
