I think you have things confused. I think what your trying to ask is when a female dog goes into her heat then she will bleed. What you have said makes no sense,

I agree I think it means when a female dog is in heat ( period) it will bleed.
but if a dog lays in the heat and it will bleed then somehow my dog has live 12 years like that so I guess if there were any bleeding I never noticed it.

Pretty much your dog goes through her period.My dog has her period about once or twice a year and it lasts for about a couple of weeks.Sometimes your dog will act out of the ordinary like act lazier than usual.You can get a doggy daiper from a pet store and use pantie liners or just cut a hole in a regular baby daiper for the tail.This all depends on whether you have an inside or outside dog and the size.

Make sure you have the question right, because when a female dog is in heat it will bleed, similar to the menstrual cycle of a girl. This will end when the dog is spayed.

It only happens in female dogs. it pretty much means their going through their period
