Kayne did a pretty good job on the first 3. Here are my answers to number 4:

a) The “firstfruits” mentioned by all prophets are those things which are the first we do once we have come to a knowledge of the truth. When the truth is known, the pursuit of worldly education, pleasure, and worldly lusts are the first things overcome. Thus, those who have given these things up (“virgins,” who have not committed “fornication with the woman”) are like “the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.”

b) The gospel of Jesus Christ (“the man child delivered of the woman”) can help people against their fleshly lusts and desires (“the dragon”).

c) The righteous people of the earth who are led by true prophets of God have always been saddened (“crying and travailing”) living in a world that wants nothing to do with equality and love, which is the purpose of keeping the commandments of God. The prophets have prophesied of the coming of a Christ (“the child”) to the earth to wipe away their tears and relieve them of the pains of trying to live righteously in a corrupt world.

John presents “the woman with child,” expressing the hope of the righteous that one day a Messiah would be sent to the earth. But until the “child is delivered” (the kingdom of God set up), the woman will still be “crying and travailing.”

d) Once the people have heard the truth, those who heed it are as the separated wheat that will be placed in a secure granary—safe from the fire that will consume the harvested field.

All of Revelation is explained plainly in the book at the site below. It has changed my life.

This is some serious homework.

Some of these can be answered if you have access to a good bible dictionary. Mine is the HarperCollins Bible Dictionary.

The revelation questions are very sect-dependent. In fact, some of these are preacher-dependent, as there are many sects who claim no certain knowledge of *all* of these symbols.

Perhaps if you supplied your sect we could answer with some certainty.

P.S. some of the answers by the previous answerer are definitely incorrect, e.g. identifying the man child as Jesus. This event is one of several that the author of Revelation said was a vision of future events (Rev 4:1), and Jesus had already ascended before John received this vision.

What's the point of this? This is not Bible study, it's a pub quiz.
