g up(3 hrs post surgery). She is shaking and having trouble swallowing. Should we be alarmed, or is this normal? My daughter is very worried but I told her I think this is typical after coming out of anesthetic. What do you folks think? Should we call the vet? Thanks,

The vet should of explained the symptoms after being put under. I would call and tell the vet what she is doing and if something doesn't seem right, take her in right away. Don't risk the poor babies life.

always call the vet when in doubt. the trouble swallowing might be a side effect of the ensthetics, but you NEVER KNOW. i would check just to make absolutely sure.

Yeah i would take her to the pet. But all Dalmatians have a lot of health problems and they have week hip bones, thats why she probably not walking very good.

It really depends on the anesthetic that was used on her. If you call you clinic they can tell you if this is normal for the drugs they used, and it very well may be.
