Living green is the idea that I am trying to follow. If you run a search for it you will find some great ideas, but in general it's all about decreasing the toxic output we each have. Or the "echo fingerprint" that we leave behind; GMA, 20/20 and several magazine have covered this.

To start try driving less, and using less energy.

For me I am working with my HOA to bring in solar panels for community lighting etc.

Do you actually think that we humans can stop climate change? When it comes to this planet, we are the fleas on the back of the dog. Those who think they can stop "global warming" either can't see that large ball in the sky which sends all that heat at the earth from over 90 millions miles away or they are filled with a sense of species arrogance which is almost without limit!

As individuals we can only decrease our own carbon emissions and encourage others to follow suit. Drive a more fuel-efficient car, drive less, use CFLs, turn appliances and lights off when not in use, etc.

In order to achieve sufficient reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, we need governments to take action. Thus we need to demand that our politicians take global warming seriously.

I don't believe in Global Warming. Scientists can't agree that there is a problem. They can't even properly predict the weather, how can they predict what will happen in 50 years?

Besides, in the mid 1970s the scientists were screaming about how we were going to face "Global Cooling" and an Ice Age. Didn't happen!

Like anything you or any other individual can do - it won't accomplish anything but make you feel good about yourself. "Global Warming" is a hoax, perpetrated by the looney liberal left so that those of the political left can gain more & more control of your life. Newsweek, 1973, frontpage: "Are we entering a new ice-age?" BS, BS & more BS.
