What exactly is the Da Vinci Code? And why is it so controversial to Christians?

The book is a fictional work by Dan Brown based on ideas by Leonardo DaVinci. The ideas are that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married, and had a child. That it was Mary that was supposed to continue the Jewish Church that Jesus started, not the atrocity that Peter started. See why it is so controversial?

It's a book whose storyline includes a marriage between Jesus and Mary Magdalene. It's controversial because 1) some people don't understand what "fiction" is, and 2) Christians apparently think that it's bad if Jesus married

When I first heard about this BOOK, I thought the whole book was about the Jesus nonsense. Then I read it. The 'Jesus nonsense' (as I call it) didn't start until about page 249 then poof, it was over with.
Some people got all fired up about it.
Can those people say ENTERTAINMENT?
