My shih tzu is one day old he was born yesterday but got stuck fo ran hour and a half, he was fine, but today white fluid is coming out o fhis nose. My vet is closed, and the nearest one is two hours away. does anyone know what this could be?

He is nursing fine
there is nothing else
wrong with him besides
the fluid comingg out of his nose :(

This puppy needs to be checked for a cleft palate. Puppies that have it, have milk coming out of their nose. If he can't nurse, he needs to be tube fed with puppy formula every 2 hours. What he really needs is to be checked by the vet ASAP.

You sure it's not milk? He is one day old, and is having a problem.. You should go the 2 hour drive and find out for sure.. Puppies go down quickly if you aren't taking good care of them..
Did you check for a cleft palate? Does he seem to be eating?? Gaining weight?

take him and mom and the rest of the litter to the vet immedialtly this is not normal and could be a number of things if the nearest vet is 2 hours away the mom and rest of the litter need to go so they can ll be fed.
