If I go all day without eating (bad, I know, but it happens because of work and such),...anyways, I get very tired, weak, and cranky. People tell me it is because my blood sugar is low and that as soon as I eat something, I'll be fine.

I understand about how food is converted into energy and lack of energy explains why I'm weak and tired. What I don't understand is how it could possibly make me so irritable and cranky.

When you don't eat and your blood sugar levels drop then you are exhausting all of your bodies resources. Getting cranky just goes along with being tired and or stressed.

Blood sugar is a hot topic lately, and everyone thinks that it is the cause of things. Your body is just telling you that you should eat. Can't you carry nuitrition bars and an apple with you to work? You have to take care of yourself. No one else will!

Going all day without eating doesn't "just happen." It happens because you are not caring for yourself!
