Yep. Just make sure the pups are warm and out of drafts. In the wild. she would be hunting.

yes, a mother will leave her puppies after the first few days for longer and longer periods of time, this teaches them to get used to being on their own, and gives her a much needed break.

it is normal for them to do that if she leaves them for about 1 hour and hasn't came back to the puppies thats when u need to ask the vet. i have lots of dogs so i think thats why my dog does it

yes as long as the pups are being kept cleaned and fed about every 2 hours.

yes they need a break. just as long as they go back every two hour or so to feed and clean them they ll be fine
