God has made circumcision to be an EVERLASTING COVENANT:
"He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money (your slaves), must be CIRCUMCISED: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an EVERLASTING COVENANT." [Genesis 17:13]
"And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be CUT OFF (be killed) from his people; he hath broken my covenant." [Genesis 17:14]
GEN017:009-10 -- And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my Covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every male child among you shall be circumcised.
Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day, to fulfill the law: And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. [Luke 2:21]
Paul even abandoned circumcision
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?" [Romans 2:25-26]
GAL005:002 --Behold, I Paul say unto you , that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
So one sentence from PAUL can invalidate an Everlasting covenant handed down by Abraham himself !!
According to the laws of the Everlasting Covenant Paul has committed a great sin and he even denied to circumcise Titus .
Paul broke A covenant that was to NEVER end as long as they keep the commands of GOD and yet the Majority of the Christians today don’t care to see what misguidance Paul introduced into the message of Jesus.
What are the Commandments of God which Jesus said to keep ?
"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do EVERYTHING they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.' (Matthew 23:1-3)"
Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17 NAB)
All of the Old Testament laws will be binding forever. "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB)
He that hath my commandments, and KEEPETH THEM, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be LOVED OF MY FATHER, and I WILL LOVE HIM, and will manifest myself to him [John 14:21]
God did not change his mind and reverse his decision for an everlasting covenant through circumcism.
The word of GOD is superior to the word of Paul.

Abraham first received the gospel by baptism (which is the covenant of salvation). Then he had conferred upon him the higher priesthood, and he entered into celestial marriage (which is the covenant of exaltation), gaining assurance thereby that he would have eternal increase. Finally he received a promise that all of these blessings would be offered to all of his mortal posterity. Included in the divine promises to Abraham were the assurances that 1 Christ would come through his lineage, and that 2 Abraham’s posterity would receive certain lands as an eternal inheritance. These promises taken together are called the Abrahamic covenant. It was renewed with Isaac and again with Jacob.
The portions of the covenant that pertain to personal salvation and eternal increase are renewed with each individual who receives the ordinance of celestial marriage. Those of non-Israelite lineage, commonly known as gentiles, are adopted into the house of Israel, and become heirs of the covenant and the seed of Abraham, through the ordinances of the gospel.
The Church under direction of Peter and the Twelve, and acting under the guidance of the Spirit, declared that circumcision was not obligatory for gentile converts. However, it apparently did not settle the matter of whether or not Jewish members of the Church should have their children circumcised. As one reads the scriptures on the matter, it becomes evident that the real issue was not circumcision only, but also the larger question as to continued observance of the law of Moses by members of the Church. The word circumcision seems to have been representative of the law in these instances.

When Jesus died and rose, he created a new covenant for humankind. Paul's job was to go to the Gentiles to preach this new covenant and he changed it to fit their culture. In the old testament times, every near eastern culture was circumcised. The Egyptians, Canaanites, Ammonites, Moabites, Edomites, Phoenicians, Arameans and Israelites. The Greco- Roman world, at the time of Jesus and Paul, hated circumcision. It went against the Hellenistic views of the human body. Jews would even try to reverse their circumcision by stretching the remaining skin. Then they could participate in the Roman lifestyle and stay out of trouble (at times it was against the law). Paul wrote to certain groups telling them to do things that would help them but seem odd to us like woman covering their heads or not having an active role in the worship service(that town had a temple to a goddess with priestess that had side jobs if you understand what I mean.).Read Biblical Archeology Review vol 32 no 4pgs48-55 "Circumcision-who did it,who didn't and why"

You and others aren't going to like this simple answer but, it is the answer, not a cop out as some think. When Jesus died for our sins, all the Abrahamic Covenants were no longer valid. A new "way of life", accepting Him as your Savior, was born. The old covenants had to be abandoned to keep from getting in the way of People seeing the "new way of life". Unfortunately, today, people still use the Old testament to try and discredit, or prove that their is deception in the Word of God. Paul was teaching AFTER the Crucifixion, so none of the Old Testament covenants applied anymore. Salvation and the way to worship God changed when Jesus gave His life for us. That is why I believe it is The most important event in the History of Man. You can choose to believe how you like, that is part of God's plan too. Thanks for the outstanding question, and have a wonderful day.

No, he was following the word of God, as expressed by Jesus, who came to change the old ways into a new, everlasting way. That's why at the First Council of Jerusalem, Paul argued that gentiles didn't have to obey Jewish Law to be Christians. I'm sure some other Christians will be able to give you New Testament quotations on the subject. Interestingly, many if not most Christians have their sons circumcised these days for sanitary reasons.

NEGATE WHAT? Paul did not negate any covenant. The covenant you talk about is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Paul said that the unsaved Jews observed a

If you accept the scriptures which speak of Paul, citing them as you do, you must accept them all. Do we, therefore, believe that God inspired Paul to write fourteen letters, that they were read at various congregations to instruct, commend and exhort; that Christ himself appeared to Paul; that Paul was made an apostle to the nations and that, according to various accounts in the Book of Acts, God repeatedly blessed the work that Paul did even though Paul, as you say, violated God's covenant?
If it is true that Paul violated God's express command, why did God not reject Paul? Why did Christ not reject him?

Quit wasting everybody's time with all this nonsense.
Take your pick ... the curse of the old law, or the blessings of the new covenant.
