No milk. At this time you would be better off with sports drinks like Gatorade or popsicles. Pedialyte is probably best now too.

The lactose in milk is not so easily digested, so you might want to stop the milk for a couple of days until he feels better. Give him any clear fluids he'll drink - pedialyte is good. (Juice is not - it can make diarrhea worse.) If he feels like eating, load him up on the carbs. Bread, crackers, noodles, pretzels, bananas, rice, applesauce, animal crackers, graham crackers, muffins, and macaroni are all good choices. If he doesn't urinate in 8 hours or the diarrhea lasts longer than 5 days, you need to speak to his doctor to rule out other problems.
BTW - skip things like pepto and immodium - they can give stomach pains and make diarrhea worse or last longer in kids.
Hope he feels better!

Well the only thing you can do is keep track of what his food intact is and write it down. This will help you get a pretty good idea of what is making him so frequent with his bowel movements. Going to the bathroom could be very unhealthy also. The fact that you have him on pedialyte is good. If you find that everything that you are trying is not helping then I would advise that you take him to either the hospital or his pediatrician as soon as possible. His moods after he eats something is also a pretty good sign to let you know what is not exactly agreeing with his stomach.
Good Luck

While your child is sick, I would limit the milk, especially if he is running a fever. Stick with the pedialyte this will keep him well hydrated.

I feel for you.. My daughter is 19 months old and she is going through the same thing. A few months back I took both my kids to the er cause they were vomiting and had bad diarrhea. All she said was to give them fluids, no heavy food, no dairy. give them rest! Try Gatorade, crackers, toast, sugar free Popsicles. Good luck.

Give him whatever he will drink if you're having troubles getting him to drink anything. Pedialyte, water, & milk would be better than juice.

thsi was the same concern i had when my child was around 1 year old and he also had the same problem!!! what i did was i did stop giving him milk asap!!! becasue milk will just make it worse! i gave him pedyalite to keep him hydrated and pretty soon he got his bowels back to normal!!!! go ahead and try it and see if it works!!!! but like i said keep him hydrated because in little children they are more prone to dehydration!!!
