Deut. 21:16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:

Deut. 21:17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a DOUBLE portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.

God made the covenant only with Abraham.

The children of Israel are from him and Sarah via Isaac. They are the one's that the Lord chose to bless us all.

The ones who do not worship the God of Abraham are those that follow Islam via Ishmael, who is not from both Abraham and Sarah.

Muslims do not deny that Almighty God made a sacred covenant with Abraham. However, Muslims and Jews differ regarding who was the covenant child/sacrificial son. To Muslims, it was Ishmael, Abraham's son through Hagar; to Jews (and Christians), it was Isaac, son of Sarah.

Although Genesis 16:3 states that Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham to be his wife, Hagar is not recognized by Jews and Christians as his wife, but as his concubine (modern-day terminology, mistress). That being the case, Ishmael is regarded as Abraham's illegitimate son; therefore, not chosen as/not qualified to be the sacrificial son/son of the covenant. Sarah, a free woman, is only recognized as Abraham's wife; thus, qualifying Isaac as the covenant child.

Muslims are not recognized by Jews and Christians as part of the sacred covenant. That being the case, Islam is regarded as illegitimate and false. According to Judaism and Christianity, Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Peace be upon him) is not the one prophecied in Deuteronomy 18:18-22, even though there were Israelite prophets who came after Moses and before Jesus (Allah's Peace be upon them).

In Genesis, Almighty God promised Abraham to make Ishmael a great nation. Abraham believed Him. He had every right to believe Him. When The Almighty promises to make your child a great nation, that is something good, not bad or evil; yet, Psalms 83:6 states that "the Ishmaelites and the Hagarines are enemies unto Me." If people have enemies, in all likelihood, they wouldn't even dream of associating with or being friends with them. It is beyond comprehension why Almighty God would want to make His enemies great nations. This only makes The Almighty look like a liar, which, of course, He never was and never will be.

Muslims believe that prior to the birth of any child, Almighty God made the covenant with Abraham; and that "through his seed, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed." Regardless of how the Genesis account of the covenant is interpreted, this includes both the Ishmaelites and the Israelites. Muslims also believe and accept Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Peace be upon him) as the one prophecied in Deuteronomy 18:18-22. We believe "brethren" refers to the Ishmaelites (Arabs). Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Peace be upon him) was a descendant of Ishmael through Kedar, his second son.

It is Abraham's ethnic identity/nationality which has caused and is still causing too much conflict/bloodshed in the Middle East. Jews are adamant he was a Jew; Christians are adamant that he was a Christian. However, Muslims are adamant that he was Muslim. As for nationality, Abraham was an Arab. As I recall, Genesis mentions Ur, in the land of the Chaldees. On a Biblical map, Ur is on the borderline of Arabia and Iraq. All of Abraham's children had Arab blood, regardless of whom their mothers were.

I believe all the bloodshed that has occurred in the Middle East came about as a result of the Israelites/Jews' refusal to accept Abraham being an Arab. This means that although Isaac was his son, Isaac somehow "escaped" having Arab blood.

If you read a little further in the bible you'll find that the story doesn't end there.

Ishmael is the son of Hagar, the handmaid of Sarah. Sarah is Abraham's first wife. Since Sarah couldn't have a son, she asked Abraham to have Hagar to bare a son unto Abraham, who ended up being Ishmael. A few years later, God blesses Abraham with a son through Sarah, his name is Isaac.

Hagar and Ishmael were cast out of Abraham's home because Ishmael mocked Isaac.
The Lord establishes his convenant with Isaac's lineage instead of Ishmael, but because he is Abraham's son he is promised that from his seed, the people will be a nation.

Genesis 21: 9-13

9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.
12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
13 And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

Galatians 4: 28-31

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Ishmael was born because Abraham needed an heir to his fortune. Sarah was blessed by God to have children, her son was born out of the blessing of the Spirit of God, he inherits the blessings of the kingdom of God and his nation is even greater than Ishmael's. God said that it will be done just as Sarah said that Ishmael shall not be an heir with Isaac.

What God says overrides any scripture, as God is eternal, all knowing and almighty.

Are you trying to say God has no power, only scriptures do?

But as Galatians 4 v. 29 says,
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Sorry....the covenant is with the Jews only. For earthly inheritance the first-born gets double. Time and again, God calls the Jews "my people"; he never said this to Ishmael.

I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise.
