they say great seeker you need medication, the lord will not be there for you, only medication can save you. I say the lord told me to use faith to get better not medication. they say God would not say that. So I listened to them, and took medication for 3 yrs, I was I've been in the hosptal 5 times and spent 4 months in the mental hosptal in total or more, I have tried 5 or 6 differnt kinds of medication and I tried to kill myself once. I said enough, I will use faith and seek the Lord. So I stoped medication against my family and doctors and the chruch. I have not been in the hosptal sense, and I am stable in my mind. Not to mention I have not thought so strongly with suicide with the heart. but they still say take the medication you will feel better....for I am still sick, but not enough to be hospitalized.........
now would you listen to the faithless christians or your heart and faith, till God puts you in the hosptel.....so no meds till I return to the hosptal under faith.

It's good that you can recognize your condition and act accordingly. Faith is the victory and it's good to have medication--that God allowed to be developed--to aid in times of need. People who do not know your faith may suggest meds. They also believe in faith.

Just because Christians go to drs. that does not mean we lack faith in God- God uses drs.to heal- even though it is Him doing the ultimate healing. Your family cares about you, and wants you to get better- You chose to not go to the dr, and you are feeling better- that is good- praise God for that.
I have a chronic illness that causes pain in my body 24/7-and I know beyond a shadow of doubt, God could heal me right now- it is not because of a lack of faith, I am not healed, it is because for whatever reason, He has chosen not to as yet. I really think it takes more faith sometimes to live in chronic pain and still want to worship and serve the Lord. When will God put you in the hospital? If you have faith for God to heal, I will come back with - when will you need meds at all?l. Think about it- do you think that God is having those family member and friends care for you. I pray that you listen to Him, when you need to go to the hospital.

Just be careful hun - depending on the mental illness it is easy to feel well but actually be headed for a break down. I have two people with bi-polar in my family and when manic they feel fantastic and don't see the need to take meds but they are really out of control and a danger to themselves.
I'm not saying this is how it is for you and if your faith is keep ing you stable that's fantastic because although the drugs work they can have side effects. Just keep an eye on yourself and be careful.

there's a selection of of ok examine pupils, that carry to each and all the three maximum severely conventional positions, reguarding the return of Jesus Christ for His Bride.... I found out some years in the past, that i replaced into able to fellowship with those of a different concepts reguarding escatological activities...there is sufficient that separates we Christians as brothers and sisters in the Lord, with out allowing yet yet another "peripheral" difficulty,to reason extra branch.. we can and have in the previous butt heads on rather some texts from the books of Ezekiel,Daniel,Thessolonians and Revelation and finally end up generating rather some warmth and little or no easy....

I'm glad you're feeling better and have found a way out of your darkness.
I have felt for sometime that religion and faith can have strong impact on the functions of the mind.
Still an atheist, just making an observation.

Are your actions or thoughts causing them to tell you this. It seems that if you are ok, they would have no need to tell you that you need medications.
I do believe that the Lord heals but, He also provides medicines. After all he is the one who created them. Medication does not save you. Only Jesus saves.

Jesus didn't like them either, there were the religeous leaders of his day. There the tares, halfempty lamps,in two of of the many parables in the bible. The speak about Jesus, but not of HIm.
But christian's that walk in the light and hold Jesus as lord, know hiim personally. These are the one's to talk to about Jesus,God,and faith. Jesus said"you'll know them by their works"-are they always going to bible studies,do they always glorify the lord in speech/actions?

You are ultimately responsible for the way your life turns out by your actions! Great way to discredit non christians though! You should be on meds, atleast psychologically speaking!
