I do think it takes more faith not to believe, because the Bible clearly says God created the earth. I can't imagine it just being here or being created by something else, that exploded, and not knowing who created it.
The only time I can see it being harder to believe in God is when things go bad. However, after going though some tough times in my life, and realizing I was not relying on God to help me, I made the struggle much more difficult than letting Him lead me.
God never leaves our side, it is us leaving God.

I know theres logic in there somewhere but I don't get the question. Every Christian has been given a measure of faith. This faith has to then be developed. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word". To develop it pray. Study the Bible. Find a good Church and try to apply the message to your life. Find the company of fellow believers. Join a prayer group and study group.

If you don't believe what have you got to have faith in? There is no faith in anything else.

It takes absolutely zero faith to disbelieve. Example:
How much faith do you have to not believe in the tooth fairy?
QED.

No, there are more feasible, plausible things that mean faith isn't particularly required for "non believers"

No. It simply takes trusting in evidence, which is how most of us live our lives, except where religion is concerned. I wonder why we give it the exclusive right to exist without evidence?
