It's so much easier!!!!!! My recipe calls for 3 cups shredded carrots.... would it mess it up if I just threw them all in the blender instead?

Yes you can. I suggest that you squeeze out as much of the water as possible. ( sometimes you have to add water to the blender so that you don't burn it out.)

You know what's even easier? BUYING SHREDDED CARROTS!!!!! As long as they are not all dry and nasty looking, they would work fine.

The main thing, they need to be small pieces, not chunks. Your blender should be able to accomplish this.

Word of warning -- they main stain any plastic parts of the blender (like the lid).

My recipe calls for a large jar of baby food carrots. Maybe you can figure the amount your recipe calls for.It is so much easier.

isnt it easier just to use a cheese grater and shred them up? its alot easier than digging them out of a blender and makes cleaning much easier as well.
